As part of SufiCorner’s Spring term and Intellectual Series 2.0, we are pleased to host a book launch and discussion for A Sourcebook in Global Philosophy on April 5, featuring Mohammed Rustom.
Rustom is a scholar of Islamic philosophy and religion whose work centers on metaphysics, Qur’anic interpretation, and the global dimensions of the Islamic intellectual tradition. He has authored and edited numerous influential works that bring classical philosophical texts into meaningful dialogue with contemporary thought while remaining faithful to their original contexts.
A Sourcebook in Global Philosophy challenges narrow philosophical canons by presenting foundational texts from diverse traditions side by side, offering a vision of philosophy grounded in plurality, historical depth, and intellectual continuity.
