This book club session explores A Sufi Saint of the 20th Century by Martin Lings, a profound biographical account of Shaykh Ahmad al-‘Alawi. Through guided discussion, participants will engage with themes of spirituality, sainthood, and the transmission of Sufi teachings. The session invites both critical reflection and personal insight into one of the most influential spiritual figures of the 20th century.

Biography:
Dr. Munjed M. Murad is Assistant Professor of World Religions and Intercultural Studies at the United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. His research interests include Islam, mysticism, comparative religion, and the environment. He holds an MEM from Yale School of the Environment, where he studied religion and the environment, and a PhD from Harvard Divinity School in comparative religion.
