Every big passage in creation is through a tunnel. Metaphorically or literally. Birth and death, wormholes or metro tunnels. There’s always a continuity, a cycle of existence. Greek oracles always spoke from within caves. One way or another, tunnels remind us of the subtle ways we get to the other side of trouble.

In Islamic dream interpretation tradition, a door is the symbol of secrets. Whenever we see a closed door, in general our instinct is to open it, see what’s hidden behind. Throughout our lives, many different doors appear before us. We shape it according to whether we pass through these doors and what we do with what is behind the door.
